Comparison

How Nimbl Mail compares to Mailchimp, Everlytic and Mail Blaze.

Every one of these is a capable platform. They differ most in what they charge you for, and that single choice decides what you pay as your list grows. Here is the honest version, with each claim linked to the source it came from.

Checked against each vendor's published pricing on 1 October 2026. Prices change, so follow the links before you decide.

The difference that actually shows up on the invoice.

We charge for sends

Your contact database can be as big as you like. A 50,000-name list you email once a month costs the same as a 5,000-name list you email once a month, because the sending is what costs us money.

They charge for contacts

Mailchimp and Mail Blaze both price on list size. Every contact you add moves you towards the next tier, whether or not you ever email them, so growing your audience raises the bill on its own.

What each one costs

Each one's entry price, published as at 1 October 2026. Like-for-like comparison is genuinely hard here, because three of the four price on list size and we price on sends, so read the basis, not just the number.

Nimbl Mail
From R249/month

Solo at R249 for 10,000 emails a month, Starter at R695 for 50,000, Enterprise at R1,195 for 100,000. Unlimited subscribers on every plan, month to month.

Mail Blaze
From R108/month

Published subscriber tiers: R108 up to 1,000 subscribers, R540 up to 5,000, R804 up to 10,000, R5,124 up to 100,000. Cheaper than us on a small list, and we would rather say so.

Being straight with you

We are not the right answer for everyone.

Choose Mailchimp if

You want the largest integration catalogue in the business, a mature automation builder, and a small list you email often. On a few hundred contacts it is inexpensive and very well trodden.

Choose Everlytic if

You need email, SMS and WhatsApp from one platform with onboarding and training included, and an annual contract with a dedicated account manager suits how your organisation buys software.

Choose Mail Blaze if

Your list is small and stable. At 1,000 subscribers their published R108 a month is less than any plan we sell, and they are a South African company with local support too.

Choose Nimbl Mail if

Your list is growing faster than your send volume, you would rather not be billed for contacts you are not emailing, and you want rand pricing with no annual contract and a person who answers.

Where these figures come from

Everything above was taken from each company's own public pricing page on 1 October 2026. Prices and plans change, and the right comparison depends on your list size and how often you send, so check the originals:
